Really Helpful Club named as Finalists in Merton Best Business Awards 2019
The Really Helpful Club, an online and offline community based in Wimbledon, has been chosen from over 150 entries as finalists in two categories in this year’s Merton Best Business Awards. The awards recognise and promote business excellence, innovation and best practice across the borough. The winners will be announced at a Gala Awards Night at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Thursday 26th September.
Sarah Austin, founder of the Really Helpful Club, said “We’re absolutely delighted to have been selected to be finalists in the Entrepreneur of the Year and Extra Mile categories. It’s a tribute to the wonderful support we have from our members within the RHC and the wider community.”
The Really Helpful Club have been recognised for their ‘Back to Business’ events, which have helped over 1000 people reconnect with the workplace, either in the corporate world or to start and grow a business. They have also assisted over 500 women with wellbeing talks to enable them to prepare for and manage perimenopause and menopause. The RHC’s charitable support includes their biennial Family Ball for Childline, which raised over £110,000 in 2018 and the Dragon Boat racing event in aid of the local children’s cancer charity, Momentum, based at Kingston Hospital.
