ANNETTE WIIK YOGA

My aim is to help you practice in a way that will benefit you in your life and your sport, bringing a feeling of groundedness and ease to your body, and calmness to your mind.
The classes focus on opening and balancing shoulders and hips, releasing tension in the spine, as well as stretching tight muscles and caring for joints, to allow the body to move as best it can.
I have a passion for Yoga for Sports, and will help you keep your body working for you, so that you can keep on enjoying your sport!
Holding a certificate from Bangor University to teach mindfulness-based courses, I incorporate my knowledge of mindfulness meditation in all my yoga classes.
Feel free to pop in to one of my classes in and around Wimbledon Village. Welcome as you are!

Serious Stuff Ltd

SERIOUS STUFF is a brand born out of a love and enjoyment for sport that runs deep into the makeup of both its founders. The brand was set up in the summer of 2009 by Jim Turley and Donnie Masters. Individually they’ve been very involved in many sports as players and then with coaching for many years.

It was through this love of sport and a deep understanding of both players and spectators needs, that they recognized one key component that consistently fell short of player, coach and spectator expectations alike.

So Masters and Turley decided to set up a clothing company that would deliver on all fronts. They called the company SERIOUS STUFF because that was what they wanted – a serious product for all sports to be enjoyed and taken seriously, at all levels.

Everything about SERIOUS STUFF is designed and developed to be synonymous with quality. A quality product, backed up by a quality support service with the shortest possible lead times on orders for all levels of sport.

The SERIOUS STUFF ethos is defined by the knowledge that clothing and equipment has a direct impact on the level of enjoyment and performance in sport.

Masters and Turley are actively involved with all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business because they want their customers to have access to the key decision makers whenever they need it.

Our remit is to deliver the best possible product on all fronts and our intent is fundamentally engrained in our process.

We are delighted to be teamwear partners with a number of great schools and sporting clubs. A selection of which include: Canford, Cranleigh, Downside, Emanuel, Godolphin & Latymer, Harrodian, Kings House, Putney High, Reed’s and Rosslyn Park.

Serious about sport?

We are.

Common Runners

Run by England Athletics Running Coach Caroline Dunleavy, Common Runners offers women-only running courses for beginners and improvers and weekly and ad hoc social runs – during the week, usually straight after school drop off and in the evening. The classes are small, friendly and for all ages and abilities.
We also offer one-to-one training (and bespoke training plans) for those who may not want to be part of a group or who would like some tailored training.
We organise 4-week pilates for runners courses throughout the year at The Wimbledon Club to help strengthen and prevent running injuries. In addition, we organise 4-week strength & conditioning courses at Bounce Gym in Wimbledon Park to help strengthen and reverse muscle mass loss.
