Learn everything you need to know about women’s health, nutrition and how to be in the best physical health for this stage in our lives. Christien Bird MSc, MCSP is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is the practice owner of the White Hart Clinic in Barnes which has specialised in women’s health for over 20 years. Christien is an authority on supporting women in their 'third age" (peri and post menopause).

Christien will be supported by Jackie Lynch, a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Suzanne Murray, Director and Lead Pilates Instructor at Physio & Pilates Central. Jackie Lynch is a Registered Nutritional Therapist and highly experienced clinician. Her WellWellWell clinic is based in Notting Hill, London. Jackie is the Nutritional Therapist for the Mail on Sunday and a columnist for Reveal Magazine. Her book The Right Bite is a practical guide to making smart food and drink choices. Jackie is also the Chair of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition. Suzanne is a registered general nurse and teacher. She is Co-Founder of Physio & Pilates Central and teaches clients on an individual basis or in groups and enjoys seeing them gain strength, flexibility and greater body awareness through pilates.

The speakers will explain a 7 step plan to you

2. Key exercises before, during and beyond the menopause, from resistance training to metabolic work outs. The Brasil test
3. Pelvic floor muscle training for better sex, bowel & bladder control and prolapse management & prevention
4. The benefits of a regular happy bowel movement & how to achieve it
5. Sex and the menopause
6. The surprising effect of stress on the menopause
7. Nutrition & the sugar roller coaster

There will also be an opportunity to take part in a Pilates taster class run by Suzanne Murray, focusing on the benefits of exercise during menopause.
