I know it has been raining all day in SW19 but the fact is the days are definitely just that little bit longer, thing are popping up in the garden and you can feel that the season is starting to turn. Lockdown has felt a bit like hibernation but as we move into February I'm beginning to feel like I am ready for a fresh start.
So it was very timely that a parcel arrived from the Danish designer we work with, even though all our usual events are cancelled (we should be at The Packhouse in Farnham this week) it was a complete thrill to open the box and see the lovely new styles inside.
Although it may sound odd, wearing nice clothes has really helped me to keep positive in lockdown - it doesn't matter that no one outside my family sees what I'm wearing - I dress to please myself! I am also the mad woman who feels she has to put on proper shoes to give a presentation on Zoom...
If you would like to try my philosophy of dressing up to feel better check out the "New In" tab on our website https://www.sw19london.comYou'll find the stunning Rubeen and Beata dresses from mbyM so easy to wear and if it gets a little chilly just add a cosy sweater. Both are part of our sustainable collection made with love and care from award winning EcoVero fabric - produced with respect for the environment from sourcing the wood to recycling all the water and chemicals used in production. Look out for the MADE WITH LESS label.
For those of you who need the comfort zone of your jeans, wear the Meera or Elula short dresses as a tunic! Perfect to see you through spring into warmer summer days too.
