    Part time Admin Assistant required for small, niche market childcare agency based in Earlsfield:

    • Hours:
    Part time – 11.30am-4.00pm, Monday to Friday
    • Duties:
    Responding to emails, taking phone calls and answering enquiries, in-putting information on databases
    • Pay: £180 per week/£780 net per calendar month
    • Skills required:
    Computer Literacy – Microsoft Word, Outlook 10, Excel
    Confident, telephone manner
    Emotional maturity
    Able to act on own initiative
    Ability to work at speed under pressure
    Sense of humour

    You will play a vital role in the day to day running of the agency by providing the first point of contact for families and nannies.

    You will be expected to take control of the daily running of the front desk, making sure all emails are responded to on the same day that they are received, all calls and voice messages are answered quickly and efficiently, and files and databases are up to date at all times.

    You will ideally live very close to Earlsfield and have a good knowledge of SW London (which is the area we cover). The agency is at its busiest between July and March each year so regretfully the job is not suitable for anyone with school aged children who needs to be at home during holiday periods.

    A knowledge of childcare at this level (primary school age and upwards) and an empathetic understanding of the inherent stresses surrounding out of school child care provision is desirable. Experience of, or an interest in recruitment would be a bonus.

    This is primarily an admin role but there is scope to take on more managerial responsibilities over time.
