We have a basement with tanking so can’t drill deep into walls. The windows are upvc, with no wooden surrounds. Has anyone had plantation style shutters fitted to a basement window? Who did you use?

Yes Plantation Style Shutter is a good option for window treatment than blinds or drapes and also in your case. They are versatile, less expensive and can increase the value of your home in no time. Plantation shutters are a good and popular choice for kitchens. Today’s plantation shutters come in many different styles and louvre sizes. In your case, you can install shutters directly onto UPVC windows where handles and air vents should be fixed into the window. Also, you need to check your screw length and position to ensure you’re not screwing into glass. For more detail discussion contact the window treatment company in your area.
