I had heard from a few people about the new wave of Returnships in many industries, aimed at women who would like to return to the workplace after a career break, which in my case was nearly 10 years.

Once I registered with Women Returners I had access to all sorts of advise on updating my CV, covering letters and useful interview advise. But above all I got an alert the day my old company, Morgan Stanley  opened up its Returnship programme, which I subsequently got  accepted on.

The help didn't stop there either. During the Returnship programme, I got offered a full time position and I contacted Women Returners for advise on negotiating a reduced working week. Katerina quickly provided me with some useful advise and links to flexible working hours information,  such as a 90% wok model, which I subsequently agreed with them.

Thank you for your positive comments, Marcia. It is great to know how useful you found the advice on our website and the alerts we issue about new returnship programmes. I'm delighted that you've been able to negotiate the flexible arrangement you wanted.

All new Return to Work programme information can be found here http://wrpn.womenreturners.com/opportunities/ or by joining our free Network http://eepurl.com/WkB8j. There are a significant number of new employers who will be opening programmes in 2016 in addition to the established ones that are being repeated
