Community is at the heart of everything we do and we love bringing people together

Let us introduce our Schools Programme

We launched our Schools Programme in 2019 with the aim to help teachers and school staff working with children of all ages to develop and enhance their skills, wellbeing and confidence.  Our Schools Programme is all about inspiring and preparing our younger generations to succeed and thrive as they navigate early learning through to the teenage years, from school to university and beyond into the global workplace. Our programme is designed to empower children by arming them with the necessary skills, resilience and experience to flourish in a global, modern day society

Our schools and universities programme is designed to help children learn the necessary skills, develop resilience and empower them to go out there in the global workplace and not just survive, but thrive, too.

Our Schools Programme is about inspiring and empowering

Really Helpful Club has worked with world class experts and inspirational thought-leaders to create bespoke, interactive and engaging talks and workshops that children, teachers and school staff can not only enjoy, but learn the life skills, knowledge, confidence and wellbeing to adjust to and manage the challenges they may face in the future.

The comprehensive programme of informative workshops and talks deliver valuable information and resources tailored to help children learn, understand and embrace the modern world as well as providing essential support and advice for teachers and school staff. From financial literacy, the importance of AI and coding, technology and the future of work to confident communication, building resilience and emotional wellbeing as well as understanding their hormonal health, we address those important issues often neglected in the school curriculum.

We create real, tangible benefits to schools, teachers, students, their parents and alumni networks now and the future. We are proud to be building strong partnerships with leading schools including Benenden School, Wimbledon High School, King’s College School Wimbledon and the ACS International Schools.

At the Really Helpful Club, we want to help teachers, school staff and children in schools to nurture and support each other in empowering our young generation with the self-belief that they can achieve their ambitions. Our schools programme not only sets them on their path of knowledge and discovery, they deliver insightful advice and useful resources for teachers, staff members, parents and alumni networks, too, in helping students.

What Our Community Say

Personal finance is an area that students regularly tell us they want to know more about, but has not historically been something we have covered outside of a passing glance in PSHE. Really Helpful Club put together an amazing morning of workshops for us focussed on Financial Literacy and getting our students to start thinking about their Financial futures, both in the short and longer terms. Sarah and her team worked closely together with us to put together a programme of fantastic speakers who carefully tailored their material to the needs of our students, and pitched it a the perfect level. Feedback from the boys was extremely positive, and showed this is definitely an area they want to know more about. We would love to welcome them back again soon!

“When we surveyed our sixth form to ask about what external speakers and workshops they would like ‘financial literacy’ came up again and again as something our older students wanted to talk about. With this in mind, we were thrilled to host the Really Helpful Club and David Holton to speak to our U6 to introduce them to the financial decisions they will be making in the coming months and years.

Informative and detailed, David’s presentation guided the students through the complexities of student loans, how to budget effectively and the magic of compound interest! His engaging talk was one of our most attended Teams events of the year and students have enjoyed using his ‘leave behind’ materials to continue these discussions in form time.

The feedback from the session has been excellent with one parent getting in touch to say, ‘…thank you very much to whoever delivered the Financial Awareness talk to the sixth form – it must have been excellent. I had the most animated and interesting discussion with X for well over an hour afterwards. Definitely an eye opener for him…’ We are already thinking about how we can embed this topic into our sixth form PSHE curriculum and we look forward to working with David and the Really Helpful Club in the future.”

The feedback has been hugely positive from staff and students today – thank you so much, to all our panellists, to Sarah and Caroline, and of course our team here. What a brilliant kickstart to a more financially literate student body.

Thank you so very much for your time, energy, wisdom and inspirational messages today. The girls have had a fantastic time and really enjoyed their introduction to the unchartered territory of the financial world and their own personal financial timeline. I’ve had students stopping me at lunch and after the workshops to tell me how interesting it has been and how much they’ve learned; eyes shining and brains whirring with ideas. Thank you for being your brilliant selves and for putting so much time and effort into making our first financial education event such a success.

Thank you so much for steering the evening so effortlessly and fabulously. Alicia’s talk to our parents was interesting and enlightening. She spoke so knowledgeably and relevantly about protecting children’s mental health. Her expertise was evident as she spoke effortlessly about the issues and in a way that was encouraging to all parents. I have received many positive comments from parents to say how much they valued the chance to think about the things they can do to encourage positive mental health.
