Back To Business 2023 Testimonials
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending my first conference hosted by the Really Helpful Club, with the focus being “unlocking your future”. It was a really inspirational day with the only issue being, I’ve now come away with a list longer than my arm of all the things I need to start doing! It was filled full of direction from the guest speakers: Eliana Sydes FPFS TEP talking to us about her varied career history and finances and how you should start setting up your own financial future. The very inspirational Robert Gardner, talking to us about “ikigai” and his quest for us and the future generation to fight climate change and make this “a world worth living in”. Esther Stanhope absolutely smashed it with her talk on the 80% perfect club and how it’s easy to get over “imposter syndrome” and Baroness Nicky Morgan giving us lots to laugh and think about too.
Some key notes from the day to remember: “Courage starts before Confidence” “Stop waiting until you’re 100%” “A portfolio career can work” “Earn it and keep it” “resilience is key” “what are you solving for your clients?” and “STOP saying sorry”!!!! I’m now feeling very focused and inspired, but I guess I should get off here now and start working through my long list of to do’s!! Courage starts before confidence”was definitely something that was a huge take away too!! ❤️
It was brilliant. Very empowering and it created a wonderful energy in the room that I’m sure has left many of the attendees (me included) ready to fight the imposter gremlins and to go out and be the best versions of themselves. Thank you Esther for having such a huge impact and Sarah and Caroline for making the magic happen.
{What a brilliant event. Thanks Sarah for inviting me to join such an amazing group of speakers. Feeling inspired. ‘Courage starts before confidence’
{Thank you so much for a fantastic day yesterday. It was brilliantly organised, the speakers were superb and I learnt so much…plus lunch was delicious. I also met some really interesting people and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I shall be fully engaging with the Really Helpful Club again.
{Wonderful Day at Roehampton University at the Back to Business Conference with the Really Helpful Club. A great opportunity for networking, listening and learning from some great speakers including: Baroness Nicky Morgan and Esther Stanhope. Such fun meeting people in-person after building relationships online, looking forward to a lot more of this in 2023!
{Had a fabulous day, full of amazing people and INCREDIBLE energy … learnt lots, met many, time just flew … and the Food was gorgeous TOO!! Cannot wait to be more heavily involved next year!! Well done to you and your team!!!
{Innovative and inspiring day at Really Helpful Club Back to Business conferennce. Met some interesting new people, discussed imposter syndrome and financial literacy. Listened to Nicky Morgan and Esther Stanhope and Robert Gardner amongst others. Great to be involved with this group of diverse people and looking forward to delivering a financial literacy session in a few months. Thanks for a good day beyond the norm!
{The talk about Imposter Syndrome had really grabbed my attention when signing up to Back to Business 2023, however the entire programme of speakers and workshops was superb. So much to take home and digest but it was Eliana Sydes words about needing to have a personal bucket list which has inspired me most. What a fantastic way of looking at your path to financial freedom. I seem to have spent so much time over the past decade working hard to pay for the here and now and saving for a future which I wasn’t really visualising. It hadn’t occurred to me that I should be planning to have some of my own fun and needless to say I have already started
{😎 Awesome! I loved speaking at the Back to Business conference today with an amazing line up. (Including baroness Nicky Morgan). Not a hint of imposter syndrome left in the room – most empowering day ever! Thank you Sarah – for inviting me to speak at the conference.
{I really have been waking up feeling fabulous and full of the joys of Spring this week despite the cold. If I’d known the motivational ‘back to business’ conference I attended on Wednesday was going to be so good, I’d have gone years ago. I’ll definitely be going again – thanks a million to the Really Helpful Club. As I said on the day, I knew I’d got my money’s worth within twenty minutes of arriving, I absolutely loved it.
