SW19London.com was born in Wimbledon nearly 20 years ago. Although we travel widely to events around the country, as our birthday approaches we will be popping up in leafy SW19 where it all began!
We start on Saturday 22nd at the Macmillan Early, Early Christmas Fair at Sacred Heart Church on Edge Hill. We have been volunteering with Macmillan Merton for almost as long, a cause very close to our hearts so do come and support this lovely fair. All the funds raised will go to Macmillan cancer care projects at St Georges Hospital.
Next, we will be making a guest appearance on 25th and 26th October at Anne Smallwood’s Autumn Charity Sale in aid of The Princess Alice Hospice. A small but perfectly formed affair in Marryat Road SW19. Anne will be selling her delicious foodies gifts and festive treats and we will be joined by Gill, with Flamingo Paperie charity Christmas cards.
On Friday 28th October we will be popping up at the Dog and Fox for the Macmillan sample sale with b.young fashion. As well as all the amazing one-off samples from this stylish Danish brand, we will be bringing our autumn collections with a few mid-season reductions too. Get there early for the very best bargains and then enjoy a coffee or lunch with your friends. 10% of sales go to Macmillan Merton.
Lastly, we will be at the Love Wimbledon Market on The Piazza in Wimbledon Town Centre on Saturday 29th and Sunday 29th October 11.6pm. It’s a wonderful little market supporting local small businesses. Don’t eat before you come, there are excellent food stalls and great coffee too.
