Facilitator of things

At Chrisanthemum, we see ourselves as facilitators.

In its most basic form we are just helping our clients action and get things accomplished that they want to accomplish. This varies hugely from one client to another and in some cases one client will have a huge array of things they want to do. And of course, once we tick one thing off the list, our clients get some of their energy back and they just want to do more!

For example, one of our clients and I met with an elder care consultant – they are experts in what kind of care is available for the elderly. I think a lot of people, as they get older, don’t know what’s available: what benefits are available; what services are available and there are people out there who can help you learn that. We had a wonderful meeting with this elder care consultant. We came away with a list of tasks that our client wanted to do. They ranged from purchasing and setting up a personal alarm, visiting respite care homes, researching later life financial advisors and few other things.

We also help with the day to day running of the home. The fridge breaks down – we can help get it fixed or get it replaced. There is a problem with the plumbing, we call the plumber. We can help get their passports and drivers licenses renewed. We can help get the boiler serviced. We can help drop things to a charity shop. We can help renew their home insurance. The list is endless!

We are also there for our clients when these suppliers come to the house, sometimes just for the initial meeting. It gives our clients a sense of security and trust. We can explain things if they get complicated and read through contracts with them. But also, it lets the suppliers know there is someone there looking out for our client.

We would love to help you facilitate things too. Please call us on 07702 035315 or reach out to us on hello@chrisanthemum.co.uk.
