‘Understanding Dementia’ Workshop
Find out about our workshops to help support those caring for loved ones with dementia
In May, it was Dementia Action Week and across the country organisations were raising awareness about the disease, how it affects people who are living with it and the support that is available within the community.
We hosted a virtual conference with guest speakers from the Alzheimer’s Society, Natwest Scam Awareness team and Kingston Carers Network amongst others. The afternoon was a great success, and following feedback from those who attended, and some conversation with the Kingston Carers Network, we have decided to run regular sessions for people in the community who would like to learn more about dementia.
